A wellness retreat to build balanced beings, with Maris Allen from Trauma Specialists of Delaware. Open to all children ages 1st-3rd grade. This retreat is meant to help support children with mental health challenges as well as social, emotional and behavioral challenges. Children will leave with internal and external resources, a sense of not feeling alone and the education to help cope with mental health challenges. The resources that will be taught and practiced have the ability to reset the nervous system. This retreat will help children make meaning, learn, feel helped, meet new people, feel connected to others and know internal and external resources.
This retreat will teach children how to have a balanced lifestyle and how it can help them. Everyone needs time to relax and recharge. Having your child learn how to balance schoolwork and activities with daily free time, gives their minds the opportunity to grow and learn in a healthy way.
