Frantic Frets Music & Antiques is an independently owned and operated guitar shop in Milton, DE. We specialize in tune-ups and repairs of fretted/string instruments by our in-house luthier – Dr. Al. Our ever-changing inventory includes gently used and vintage guitars, basses, amplifiers, and pedals/stomp boxes.
You may also find banjos, mandolins, dulcimers, ukuleles, lap steel, violins, and other cool and unusual instruments here. Depending on our current inventory, we also buy, sell, trade, and consign guitars, basses, amps, pedals, and gear, and appraisal services are also available.

Al and Mary have been playing music since they were kids and realize the importance music plays in all of our lives. During the pandemic, they opened their outdoor space to provide live music for those so desperately missing live music and the musicians who were missing sharing their talents.
They also embarked on organizing events to raise money for musicians in need – so they began a nonprofit organization. An organization that would benefit the musicians of Delaware – the ones who make our lives a little brighter with their music.

Al Frantic is a self taught musician who is ready to share his decades of experience with you. From showing you how to properly change your strings, how to play a D-chord, or wail on a whammy bar, Al Frantic can help you learn all the basics guitar and bass.All items at Frantic Frets are considered used, unless otherwise marked. We look far and wide for gently used items. Al gives all newly obtained stock a thorough going-over to make sure that everything is optimum and ready for sale.
