Milton Arts Guild’s popular Saturday kids’ art classes continue through the summer with the addition of four new class offerings. These classes are designed specifically for young people in grades 5-8.
The two-hour classes are held on the third Saturday of each month, from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at Studios on Walnut, 310 Walnut Street, Milton.
The classes are taught by MAG member and veteran public school art teacher, Karen Letonoff, who is currently the art teacher at Woodbridge Early Childhood Education Center in Greenwood.
The summer line-up includes Graphite Pencil Still Life on May 18; Acrylic Jellyfish on June 15; Flip Flop Painting on July 20; and, Graffiti with Color Pencils on August 17.
“Our Saturday kids’ classes have been fun and popular,” said Sue Dutton, president of Milton Arts Guild’s Board of Directors. “These new classes will not only introduce students to media they may not have used before, but will also tickle their creativity.”
The classes cost $35 each, which includes supplies, and are offered on an à la carte basis. To register, visit www.miltonartsguild.org.
